hier nochmal die aktuellen News, zuerst wie immer neue
Patches:
1) Client v3.3 SupportPack 3 for Win95/98 (nur fuer die
englische Version) unter

2) Client v4.8 SupportPack 3 for WinNT/2000 (nur fuer die
englische Version), das SP scheint gut zu funktionieren!
Die "neue" NWGINA mit der unter dt. w2k das Roaming Profile
funktioniert ist auch drinn. Die Integration in Windows NT
& 2000 Unattendinstallationen klappt problemlos:

image that will simultaneously install a NetWare 5.1 server
with the Support Pack 2a.
Both the NetWare 5.1 CD and the Support Pack 2a contain
directory paths that exceed the DOS limits. You should create
directories to hold these files at the root-level on your
local drive or on a NetWare volume that accepts longer paths
with long filenames.
Dann kann man neue Server bei der Installation direkt in die
NDS einbinden ohne sich Gedanken ueber die zunaechst (bis
zum Patchen) aeltere DS-Version des neuen Servers zu machen
(oder diesen erst spaeter in die NDS einzubinden).
5) Filename: FLSYSFT3.EXE
Title: Partner File for FILESYS.NLM

Updated FILESYS.NLM v5.10 (June 5, 2001) for Netware 5.x
-It corrects file save problems with compressed files.
-It also addresses an issue with NT trying to move compressed
files and getting a "sharing violation".
-It also addresses a high utilization issue where clients are
waiting behind the OpLock.
-Addresses additional OpLocking issues.
This file supersedes the FILESYS.NLM which ships in
NW51SP2A.EXE and NW50SP6A.EXE.
WARNING: The server MUST already be patched to NW51SP2A.EXE
or NW50SP6A.EXE before using this new FILESYS.NLM or server
may not boot up properly.
Wuerde ich wirklich nur einsetzten, wenn einer der Fehler
auftritt, evtl. nach Ruecksprache mit dem NTS Dus (Novell
Technical Support Duesseldorf).
6) Filename: sbcon1.exe

This patch encrypts the username and password in the
SYS:\QUEUES\xxxxxxxx.QDR\xxxxxxx.Q file when using SBCon.
